Team Players Program

hands-in_600x600Welcome to the Team Players Program.  By becoming a Team Player, you are making a lasting commitment to the children in your organization and young people throughout the St. Louis region.  This membership is completely free of charge and includes benefits that will allow your organization to grow in reach and impact.  When you complete the form below, your organization will receive the Cardinals Care Package – a sportsmanship kit filled with materials to help athletes, coaches, parents, and officials incorporate the principles of sportsmanship into your sports programs.

Each Cardinals Care Package includes:

25 Daily Character Lessons for Youth Coaches Booklets – This booklet contains lessons that any youth sports coach can use in his/her program regardless of sport.  Remember sportsmanship begins with sports.  Include character drills with physical drills.

25 Through a Child’s Eyes Brochures – Through a Childs Eyes is a comprehensive brochure containing information about improving the youth sports experience.  The roles of athletes, coaches, parents, officials and fans are presented.  Young people get the most out of sports when they have fun.  When respect is shown for the game and those who play it, we all enjoy it that much more.

50 Student Athlete Cards – Young people need positive reinforcement of what behavior is acceptable on and off the field.  These cards serve as gentle but direct reminders.

50 Parent Game Reminder Cards – Everyone has a role in youth sports.  Parents need reminders of what is expected of them as well.

There are many other benefits to being a Team Player.  These include:
