Assessing Community Needs

The citizenship needs of any community may be difficult to identify and describe. Because citizenship needs are elusive to determine, the following brief needs assessment is designed to help quantify and identify those needs. Through a combination of open- and close-ended questions, which are detailed in this section, you will be armed with information necessary to your success in customizing a citizenship roadmap for your community.

It is suggested that you utilize each of the materials in the Citizenship Through Sports Alliance "It's Up to Us" A Community Organizing Tool Kit for your own community, and you are encouraged to disseminate this information to your core Citizenship Team members.
